ABOUT & FAQ
NATHAN BAMFORD
I have been making professional wedding films since 2006. Showing a few samples to prospective clients at wedding fairs meant that the business soon took off.
Making wedding films is a passion more than a job - this means that every film I produce is a labour of love, and I work many hours in the editing suite to craft the perfect finished product.
See below for some FAQs or contact me at bamfordfilms@gmail.com if your question is not answered here.
FAQS
What areas do you cover?
I am based on the border with Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Essex so I cover those counties as well as Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. I can certainly travel further afield for an additional charge - just contact me for details.
Can I view recent examples of your work?
Certainly! You can check out clips from recent weddings on my blog.
How long will our finished wedding film be?
It's difficult to say given that every wedding is different. With a short ceremony and speeches, the fully-edited wedding film is likely to be around an hour. With a longer ceremony and speeches, the runtime will be 90 minutes or more. The simple truth is that every wedding film is as long as it needs to be!
You work alone. Won't we need 2 videographers?
Not if you book me! I use two cameras for the ceremony, speeches and first dance and capture the rest of the day from many angles to ensure everything is covered. Having two videographers at your wedding is simply not necessary given the way I work.
There are other factors involved, too. Booking two videographers really increases the package cost and I like to keep my price as reasonable as possible. Also, I pride myself on being unobtrusive and having two videographers at the wedding means that would be much harder to achieve! The final element is style - my films have a certain cinematic look to them because of the way I film them, which would not match up to the footage of a second, and most likely amateur videographer.
You're so much cheaper than other videographers offering a similar kind of package. Why is this?
I keep my costs low. I don't employ a second videographer, and I don't purchase equipment that will stop me from being unobtrusive. This means that I don't use drones or camera cranes or anything like that. But as you'll see from my video footage, I don't need to!
How do we make a booking?
Please check availability by filling out the quick form on my package page. Then as long as I'm available for your wedding date I simply require you to complete a brief online booking form and pay a £95 deposit.
The process is quick and painless - it's possible to book me as your videographer within a matter of minutes if you so wish!
